Herbivore Prism Serum

Since Herbivore’s launch into the European market, I have been drawn to their products (mostly because of the packaging!) and couldn’t wait to get my hands on some.  The first product I purchased is their Prism serum.  Here’s how I found it.

What is Herbivore Prism Serum?

It is advertised as a super lightweight serum with natural fruit acids to exfoliate, hydrate, clarify, even the appearance of skin tone and smooth.  It contains botanical extracts and a series of organic ingredients to leave skin glowing day after day.

How did it work for me?

There are many acids out there which are great for resurfacing and tackling wrinkles & texture.  If vegan, natural & cruelty free are important to you, then this brand is a winner.  For me, it’s not just about that.  This product performed beautifully and while I’ve been using it for 3 – 4 weeks, I found an instant improvement in my skin.  The morning after the first application, my skin was smoother, more refined & the redness reduced.  It has a slight tingle on application but to me that’s a good sign of the ingredients eating away dead skin cells like a Pac man!  On a couple of occasions, I’ve worn no makeup and applied it a couple of times per day and it felt like a real treat for my skin.

This is a lightweight elixir that is suitable for most skin types and it absorbs beautifully & quickly leaving no residue. Therefore, it is perfect for layering into your night time routine.

How to use?Apply 4-8 drops to clean skin and massage in at night after cleansing.  You can use daily or as often as needed like I did by using it a couple of times per day. When using during the day, follow with SPF to protect from UVA/UVB rays.

Do you need it?

If funds allow (it’s 58euro) and you’re of a certain age, I’d suggest trying it out.  I will definitely be repurchasing and look forward to trying more in the range.

What does it contain?

It is vegan and is cruelty free plus contains Bilberry Lactic, Sugar Cane Glycolic, Orange Peel Citric and Apple Malic Acid pair with Vitamin C rich Kakadu Plum.

To soothe the skin, it also contains Rose Water, Aloe Water and plant-derived vegan Sodium Hyaluronate which helps plump the skin.

Where can I buy it?
